About
Olá! I’m Larissa.
Brazilian, currently living in Barcelona, and someone who has
always believed that good communication starts with curiosity,
listening and observation.
I’ve spent over 20 years working in internal communications
across complex, global organisations in Brazil, Ireland and
Spain. Manufacturing, tech, food and beverage, professional
services. On-site, hybrid and fully remote.
I’ve built internal communications functions from scratch five
times, worked across local, regional and global roles, and
improved communication with audiences that are hard to reach.
I’ve also supported mergers and acquisitions, transformation
programmes, culture change and global technology rollouts.
And yes, I’ve probably attended more meetings about
communication than any human reasonably should.
All of it pointed to the same thing: communication isn’t just
about messaging. It’s the connective tissue of how an
organisation actually works.
SOU is the result of everything I’ve learned from doing this
work. The strategy.
The structure. The processes. The cross-cultural perspective.
The practical experience of building communication from the
ground up. And the belief that good communication shouldn’t
feel complicated, corporate or full of words nobody would ever
use in real life.
Outside work, you’ll probably find me planning the next trip or
opening a bottle of wine
“for research purposes”.
If any of that sounds like your kind of conversation, we’ll
probably get along just fine.
You can find my full CV, career history and all the good stuff
here.
